EAMCET Councelling 2014 Engineering Colleges List and Fee details
The controversy which has engulfed Eamcet engineering admissions is far from over with the Telangana government cracking its whip on 174 engineering colleges citing sub-standard facilities and cancelling their affiliation to JNTU-H and the Telangana Engineering Professional College Managements’ Association (TEPCMA) deciding to move the court. As the High Court is not in session,TEPCMA is likely to file a house motion petition Monday.
The members of the association said there was no need for a second round of inspection by the government when the All India Council for Technical Education had already concluded the process in April this year. Meanwhile, officials assured students not to worry about the government’s decision to keep nearly one lakh engineering seats out of bounds.
“Considering that many students joined IITs, NITs and deemed universities in neighbouring states due to controversy surrounding Eamcet admissions, the shortfall of seats will not make any difference as the student-seat ratio will be 1:1,” a senior official said.
